Communities and Local Government, a central government department, have allocated £30 million for the Thames Gateway Parklands and across north Kent partners have been working together to produce a co-ordinated business plan that sets out our priorities to secure some of these funds. This plan incorporates a number of projects within Kent Thameside: 1) Dartford Green Heart; 2) Bridges, marshes and connections provide traffic-free paths for walking, cycling and disabled; 3) Thames and Medway Canal; 4) A2 Activity Park Follow Link to Parklands News for more information on these projects.
New leaflets Two publications have been produced in partnership with others to promote the Kent Thameside Green Grid. KCC have published a new public transport map for Kent Thameside which shows all the green grid sites and how you can get to them via public transport.
